Glo Will Officially Acquire 9mobile On 16th January 2018 - NCC

Out of all the five bidders Glo has successfully be merged the winner and to acquire 9mobile network, anytime soon.

NCC Announces that 9mobile will be sold off by 16th January 2018 and now has finally approved Globacom the Grandmaster of data. This means 9mobile will be sold out to Globacom Nigeria on 16th of Jan. 2018.

The deal has been approved by NCC and the said date of handover won’t be postponed. This is a great opportunity for Glo. It will now make the Network one Largest Telecommunication network in Nigeria. This only occur after 9mobile changed it name from Etisalat. Over an Unpaid debth.

According to NCC and Stakeholder Management, they confirmed that the handover and transactions of 9mobile to the new buyer will be concluded on the 16th of January, 2018. This will give Glo incharge of all 9mobile Informations and Database Access. This is a right time Glo need to improve their network coverage after fully acquiring 9mobile.
